Frequently Asked Questions
How do you bill for your services?
Generally fees are based on a project basis, not hourly. Where applicable, our fees will be quoted in advance. Our standard billing procedure is to bill when the tax return is completed. We require payment upon receipt. Cash and Checks are accepted. There will be times when a retainer will be required.
What hours are you available?
We are available during normal business hours, which are 8:30 to 5:00 (PST), Monday through Friday. We would be happy to make special arrangements for evening or weekend appointments. Email is preferred for communication and sometimes can be a faster response time.
What role do you play if the IRS audits me?
Matt can represent you and fees will be quoted for the service.
How much and what kind of preparation do you need for my return?
For new clients a copy of your most recent return will be used as a basis to prepare the current tax year organizer. **Not Currently Accepting New Clients*** The organizer is the road map to prepare your current year tax return. Continuing clients will have the organizer emailed or mailed to them every year depending on their preference.
